Mecha Sonic has stolen Master Emerald for Eggman. Sonic, Tails, Knuckles and Amy are going to bring back the Emerald and destroy Eggman's plans. (yep... story is too simple...)
You can play for different characters. Every character has their abilities.
Sonic can dash in the jump, also he can become a Super Sonic, if he has all 7 chaos emeralds. Tails can fly. Knuckles can hit the floor, and fly horizontally. Amy can hit the floor with hammer, and she can dash in the jump as Sonic.
